Campers will swim every day. They are welcome to wear their swimsuits to camp or change into them right before swim time. Make sure to pack a change of clothes and a bag for wet clothes!

Campers will participate in crafts such as tie-dyeing and making friendship bracelets!

Campers will learn how to fish in one of the many creeks at Shantituck. They'll learn how to bait a hook and the correct, safe way to cast their line.

Campers will learn how to shoot a compound bow and the whistle commands involved with safe archery practices.

Campers will learn how to both conduct and participate in a flag ceremony. Flag will be held every day at the beginning and at the end of camp, weather permitting.

Campers will learn how to build a campfire and cook over that fire. They will also learn how to tie knots, knife safety, and other helpful outdoor skills.

Your camper's unit may decide to go creek walking during their free time in the week! They will learn how to safely walk in the creek, and about the critters, they may discover! 

Your camper may work towards and even earn badges during her week at camp. 

We try and make camp a fun and learning experience for all our campers and offer a lot of activities for all to enjoy.
