Bus transportation is provided at no additional cost. Buses depart from their locations at 8:00 a.m. and return at approximately 5:20 p.m., depending on location and traffic conditions.

Bus assignments are based on capacity and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Families are asked to select a first and second choice for bus location and maybe asked to ride the bus from there second choice. At locations with more than one bus, riders will be assigned alphabetically.

In order to verify that children are released to their parents\guardians safely:

1. A child will only be released to contacts listed on their registration form.
2. Upon arrival at the school, children will remain on the bus until released by the bus monitor.
3. Parents\guardians should have identification ready and form a line.
4. The bus monitor will check parent identification with the registration list as each child is called for pick-up.
5. Parent\guardian will initial the list next to their child's name.

Car Riders - If you are bringing your camper by car, please drop off at Camp Shantituck (3920 E. Hebron Lane, Shepherdsville, KY 40165) between 8:00AM - 8:15AM and pick up between 5:15PM - 5:30PM. Do not park on the road leading to camp or on the grass beside the entrance. Lastly, there is a known police presence on the road to camp, and many families coming to and from camp have ended up with speeding tickets. Please keep this in mind when driving to camp! 

Due to very limited parking at camp, all volunteers and car riders will need to park at Hebron Middle School and then catch the bus to and from camp. If you have a specific reason that you need to park at camp, please email director@area13daycamp.com with that reasoning so we can issue a parking pass if still available.

Due to very limited space, no one without a parking pass will be permitted to park at camp. You are welcome to drop your passengers off at camp, but will then need to go back down the road to park at the school.
