Dates: July 14-July 18
Theme: Enchanted Forest
Area 13 Day Camp is a week-long volunteer-led Girl Scout camp held at Camp Shantituck in Shepherdsville, KY. Girls ages 5-18 spend the week learning about the outdoors, camping, themselves, and Girl Scouting.
Registration for Day Camp 2025 will open on February 7, 2025.
Girls will enjoy the outdoors at Shantituck, all while learning new skills, advancing old ones, making new friends, and learning to lead while having fun. Our goal as Girl Scouts is to empower young women to be who they want to be and whatever they want to be.
At our day camp, Girl Scouts get to hike, swim, creek walk, make crafts, cook over a campfire, fish, do archery and so much more. They will make tons of new friends, and enjoy the beauty of Camp Shantituck!
Drop-off: 8:00 AM
Pick-up: 5:00 PM
Fourth Grade and up Girl Scouts are invited to stay overnight on Wednesday night. They will sleep in a tent or a cabin, and participate in fun activities after the normal camp day ends.
After some extra swim time, pizza will be served, followed by a night full of dance parties, skits, games, ice cream, and so much more!
